Winter Park

Winter Park is a quiet lakeside town just north of Orlando. It is a good break from the busy theme parks. Park your car near Park Avenue to start your day. This main street has many local shops and art galleries. It is an easy place to walk around and explore the storefronts.

The food scene is excellent, with plenty of cafes and restaurants to choose from. One practical tip is to take the scenic boat tour. It lasts about an hour and goes through three different lakes. You will see some of the area’s oldest houses from the water.
