about this place

This is a nice public park right on the cliffs overlooking the ocean. The main thing you’ll see here is a big statue called ‘El Beso,’ or The Kiss. It was made by a local artist named Victor Delfín and shows two people embracing. It was unveiled on Valentine’s Day back in 1993, which is why it’s such a popular spot for couples.

The walls around the park are covered in bright, colorful tiles. If you look closely, you’ll see they have quotes from Peruvian poets written on them. It’s a great place to walk around and look at the coast. It gets pretty busy around sunset, so keep that in mind when you visit.
