This series follows our journey to Texas and beyond, starting in Houston and Galveston before boarding Harmony of the Seas for a Western Caribbean adventure. It’s our first time sailing on an Oasis Class ship, and our first time exploring this corner of the Caribbean, so everything feels a little bigger, louder, and more curious than usual. Before the cruise even begins, we spend a few days wandering Houston and Galveston—eating well, poking around local spots, and easing into travel mode—then it’s off to sea to see how this mega-ship and this region live up to their reputations. Big ship, new destinations, first impressions only.
