We Skipped Cozumel to Visit Chichén Itzá – A Wonder of the World! | Harmony of the Seas

In this episode of our Harmony of the Seas cruise vlog, we dock in Cozumel, Mexico — but instead of exploring the port, we embark on an unforgettable full-day excursion to the ancient ruins of Chichén Itzá, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.

The journey includes a ferry ride across the channel (affectionately nicknamed the “vomit comet” for a reason!) followed by a 2.5-hour bus ride each way, but the destination is absolutely worth it. Standing in the shadow of the iconic pyramid and learning about the rich history of the Mayan civilisation made for a truly bucket-list experience.

After a long day of travel and exploration, we return to the ship, unwind with a delicious dinner at Izumi, Harmony’s signature Japanese restaurant, and cap off the night with some fantastic onboard entertainment.
