Baños Termales (Hot Springs)

The hot springs are just a ten-minute walk up the hill from the center of town. You just follow the main road until it ends at the ticket booth. It costs about 20 soles for a ticket to get in. Inside, there are several different stone pools with varying temperatures to choose from.

The water is naturally yellow because of the minerals, so don’t let the color surprise you. It is a simple place to relax your legs after visiting Machu Picchu. Make sure to bring a towel and flip-flops with you.
