Women weaving textiles outdoors
about this place

We’re stopping at a weaving co-op in the Sacred Valley to see how they make textiles. You can watch the women turn raw wool into yarn. They use natural dyes made from crushed insects and plants to get all the different colors.

You can watch them weave patterns by hand on traditional looms. If you see a scarf or blanket you like, you can buy it directly from the maker. It’s a simple way to support the local community while picking up a souvenir.
