Kennedy Park Miraflores

Located in the heart of the vibrant Miraflores district, Kennedy Park (locally known as Parque Kennedy) is the social and cultural hub of Lima, Peru. Spanning roughly 22,000 square meters, it serves as a bustling urban oasis where history, art, and local life converge.

The park’s most famous feature is its large resident population of friendly stray cats. Legend says they were originally introduced to control a rodent problem, but today they are the unofficial mascots of the district. They are well cared for by local volunteers and are often found lounging on benches, in flowerbeds, or even on the laps of visitors.
