Puente de los Suspiros

This wooden bridge is right in the middle of Barranco. It’s a popular spot for locals and visitors because it sits in a very artistic part of town. Even though it looks like a simple walkway, it connects two main streets and overlooks a path that leads down to the ocean.

There is a local tradition you can try. If it’s your first visit, try to hold your breath while walking across. People say if you make it to the other side, your wish will come true. There are plenty of cafes nearby if you want a snack afterward.
