about this place

Brady’s Cay is a small island in the Bahamas where you’ll find very white sand and clear water. It is a popular spot for boat trips leaving from nearby Grand Bahama. You can spend your time swimming or just walking along the shore. The water stays shallow for quite a distance, which makes it easy to wade around.

Most visitors come here to snorkel since there are many fish near the rocks. There are no restaurants on the island, so you should pack your own lunch and drinks. It is a straightforward place to enjoy the outdoors without many crowds or noise.

Travel Serie

Texas – Western Caribbean

This series follows our journey to Texas and beyond, starting in Houston and Galveston before boarding Harmony of the Seas for a Western Caribbean adventure. It’s our first time sailing on an Oasis Class ship, and our first time exploring this corner of the Caribbean, so everything feels a little bigger, louder, and more curious than usual. Before the cruise even begins, we spend a few days wandering Houston and Galveston—eating well, poking around local spots, and easing into travel mode—then it’s off to sea to see how this mega-ship and this region live up to their reputations. Big ship, new destinations, first impressions only.
