About this place

Old's Havana is a lively Cuban bar and kitchen on Calle Ocho, with a colourful frontage, a busy terrace and live music on many nights. It calls itself the home of the mojito, but the dish most people come for is the Cuban sandwich.

That was the stop we had been looking forward to most on our Little Havana food tour. Roast pork, ham, Swiss cheese, pickles and mustard, pressed on Cuban bread until hot and crisp. Our guide swore it was one of the best in the city. One bite, and we believed him: it was the best Cuban sandwich of our trip.

Our take
Home of the best Cuban sandwich of our trip. Lively and a little loud, in the best way.
